BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
1.A deposit equal to the first 2 nights or 25% of the total tariff is required.
2.Full booking balance is due on the day of arrival.
3.A booking charge of 5% of tariff when Richwood special offers are booked over the phone.
4.On all Deals and Special Offers (Richwood’s own and third party) there are no refunds on cancellations and payment is taken on booking.
5.Cancellations after 72 hours before expected check in and non-arrivals will be charged at full booking price.
6.All cancellations incur a £20 administration fee.
7.Pets cost £10 per pet, per night, only in one of our two Pet Friendly Premiere Rooms.
8.Infants under 2 years of age are charged at 2.5% of standard adult rate, with their own carry cot.
9.Children aged 3 to 14 years are charged 50% of standard adult rate.
10.Check-in time from 2pm until 6pm, except by previous agreement. After 6pm, if not previously arranged by 6pm on the day of arrival, the booking will be classed as a no-show and the room can be re-sold.
11.Checkout by 11am, except by previous agreement. Late checkout may result in a surcharge of between £10 and £30.
12.To amend a booking, the Richwood must be contacted least 72 hours before arrival. Amendments will only be made if possible with an admin charge of £5.
13.In the event of an early departure there will be no refund of monies paid.
14.On all Deals there are supplementary charges due on weekends, Bank- and School holidays. Supplements will be clearly marked on the web-booking page.
15.The management reserves the right to cancel any booking with refund of the full deposit.
1.All bookings are based on a room only arrangement; a la carte breakfast available.
2.Breakfasts are served from 9 to 10am if required.
3.All guests are required to supply their Email and full postal address and telephone number on booking.
4.A valid credit/debit card must be presented on booking or arrival against damages; if none available the management will request proof of identity and means of payment. Guests must sign an agreement that the card held may be charged in the event of damage to the room
5.The management accepts no responsibility for belongings or money left unattended anywhere in the Richwood.
6.The management accepts no responsibility for cars parked at the Richwood.
7.The Richwood is licensed with Bar and Bistro, therefore take in food and drinks for consumption in public areas of the Richwood are forbidden.
8.Take-away food or drink consumed in the rooms resulting in room contamination can incur a surcharge on the bill or charged, without consent, against the guest’s card.
9.The management does not take any responsibility for children under 16 who are not under parental supervision anywhere; at the pool, in the Richwood or on its premises.
10.The management takes no responsibility for allergic reaction of guests to food or drinks made by, or to pool chemicals, cleaning and washing agents used by the Richwood.
11.Guests who are abusive or use foul language will be evicted without refund.
12.Physical violence or abusive behaviour will be immediately reported to the police and may result in prosecution.
13.Charges will be levied for replacement, cleaning or repair if any guest causes contamination, defilement or damage of Richwood property - including loss of revenue due to said damage. If said contamination, defilement or damage is found after check out it will be charged, without consent, against the guest’s card.
14.Any charges made will be backed by CCTV or other photographic evidence and the guest will be invoiced.
Theft or criminal damages will be reported to the police; a police report will be made and may result in prosecution.
15.The management only reveals personal details of guests to a third party in connection with legal conflicts / damage of Richwood property / assault / violence.
16.The Beirut Bistro is not open to the public.
SMOKING POLICY The Richwood is smoker friendly; however
1.Smoking is forbidden in the guest rooms and is permitted in designated areas only.
2.Smoking in the guests’ rooms can result in eviction and will incur a minimum £100 levy to deep clean the room. If evidence of smoking is found after check-out it will be charged, without consent, against the guest’s card.
1.Room linen and towels will be changed every five days. Any more frequent changes may be charged at £2 (bed linen) and 50p (towels) per item.
2.Complimentary tea, coffee, milk and sugar portions for the number of persons in one room are supplied daily. Refills of any or all of these items are subject to a supplement of 50p.
3.A la Carte breakfast can be ordered at a supplement of between £3 to £12 per breakfast.
GROUP BOOKINGS FOR RESIDENT GUESTS
1.The Richwood defines a group as follows: two or more rooms booked by one individual or the representative of a group.
2.Group bookings for ten or more people can only be made per telephone or Email and the person making the booking will be responsible for all deposits and payments to the Richwood.
3.Payment on arrival must be as a lump sum for the group and not as individual, and we require from the person making the booking, details of a valid debit or credit card on arrival against damages, before check-in is permitted.
4.Any charges made against the card will be backed by CCTV or other photographic evidence and the group representative will be informed.
5.Unless otherwise agreed at booking, all food or drinks consumed by a group at the Richwood bar or Bistro must be paid in cash when ordering. This rule also applies to non-residents.
6.Drinks or food, brought from outside into the Richwood, are not permitted to be consumed in public areas.
PETS POLICY: We love animals and welcome your pets! However, not all people do!
Because of this we ask pet owners to respect the following Pet Friendly Code:
1.Your dog may not come through the main reception area, there is a side gate for which you will be supplied a key to take your dog in and out of the Richwood.
2.Please bring your own pet bed and food, Keep your dog on lead on our grounds at all times, keep your dog under control at all times and don’t let your dog bark at night.
3.Dogs are not to be left alone in your room, unless caged; if not caged you must be certain that your dog does not go on the beds. Any other pets must be caged if the owners are absent, to prevent loss of the pet or damage to the Richwood or injury to staff.
4.Pets are not permitted on the Richwood’s furniture or beds.
5.Wet and muddy dogs must be washed before coming into the Richwood. There is a hosepipe and water, on request, at the back of the Richwood for this purpose.
6.Please dispose of all pet excretion appropriately. Failure to do so will incur a levy of £50 per fouling.
7.Should your pet cause any damage, contamination or defilement to Richwood property, including loss of revenue due to said damage, you will be charged, if necessary without consent, against the card used for the deposit.
CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL IN PUBLIC AREAS OF THE RICHWOOD
We have a bar with very competitive prices. Alcoholic drinks, bought from outside, are not permitted to be consumed in public areas of the Richwood.
THE OUTDOOR POOL AND SPA
The pool is free of charge for guests and can be used in the summer season.
The use of the bubbling hot Spa costs £15 per half hour, for 2 persons.
SECURITY, CCTV AND PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCING OF DAMAGE IN GUEST ROOMS OR PUBLIC AREAS
The Richwood is equipped with CCTV in public areas. Damage, contamination or defilement to Richwood property will be photographed to be used when claiming compensation.
BY MAKING A BOOKING AT THE RICHWOOD ALL GUESTS OR THEIR APPOINTED AGENTS, ARE ACCEPTING THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
